Noah Paessel

Senior Software and Systems Engineer

Mr. Paessel is a seasoned technologist with over two decades of experience spanning educational software, human-computer interaction, and full-stack development. He holds a Master’s degree from the MIT Media Lab, where he studied with John Maeda and Hiroshi Ishii, focusing on data visualization and ambient interfaces. A named inventor on a U.S. patent for a wearable wireless sensor platform, Mr. Paessel also founded and led SNiF Labs, a venture-backed startup in distributed sensing. His work includes architecting enterprise-scale learning platforms, developing interactive data visualizations, and co-leading a $1.9M NSF-funded project to integrate computational thinking into Earth science education. At FTL Labs, he contributes expertise in software architecture, UI/UX design, and applied machine learning for human-centered research and educational tools.
